The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a great way to stream BET+ on any TV with an HDMI port. Getting BET+ activated on Fire TV takes about 5 minutes — you’ll install the app from the Amazon App Store and confirm your account at bet.plus/activate from your phone or browser.

How to Activate BET+ on Fire TV Stick

Go to the Search Bar

From your Fire TV home screen, navigate to the Search icon (magnifying glass) at the top of the screen, or use Alexa and say “Find BET Plus.”

Search for BET+

Type BET+ in the search field. Select BET+ from the search results to open the app page in the Amazon App Store.

Download and Open the App

Click Download (free to download). Once installed, select Open.

Select Sign In

On the BET+ welcome screen, choose Sign In. An activation code will appear on your screen.
Do not navigate away from this screen — the code will expire in a few minutes.

Visit bet.plus/activate

On your phone, tablet, or computer, open a browser and go to bet.plus/activate.

Enter Your Code

Sign in to your BET+ account, type the activation code exactly as shown on your Fire TV screen, and click Continue.

Stream BET+ on Fire TV

Your Fire TV Stick will automatically sign in. Start watching BET+ content right away.

Using Alexa to Search BET+

If your Fire TV remote has an Alexa button, you can use voice commands:
  • “Alexa, open BET Plus” — launches the BET+ app
  • “Alexa, search for BET Plus” — finds the app in the store
  • “Alexa, play [show name] on BET Plus” — goes directly to a show

Troubleshooting Fire TV Activation

Make sure your Fire TV device is set to the US region. Go to Settings → My Account → Amazon Account and verify your region. Some content is region-restricted.
This is common. Simply go back to the BET+ app sign-in screen to generate a fresh code. Have the activation page already open at bet.plus/activate before you request a new code.
Restart your Fire TV Stick by holding the Select and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. You can also go to Settings → My Fire TV → Restart.
Check your internet speed (BET+ recommends 5 Mbps for HD). Move your router closer to the Fire TV Stick or use a Wi-Fi extender. You can also try clearing the BET+ app cache: Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → BET+ → Clear Cache.
